The pictures pretty much explain everything. This is a pen size nail grinder/buffer that uses 2 AA batteries. This is just a basic unit so don't expect too much! That's why it's priced as it is. This unit will not work well for you if you are looking for a multi-speed unit since this just has one button and it's high speed only. Keep in mind that this can get very hot if on your nail because it's turning so fast (you know, kind of how you start a fire by rubbing a stick between your hands really fast on top of some straw? same idea.)
But if you know what you are doing and move the grinding bits or buffer pad around rapidly and don't leave it in one spot for too long you will be fine.
Also note that this is the 2nd of these units that I've purchased.
Last one was a different brand but same manufacturer. That first one lasted me about 7 years but I also had to repair it several time due to the inside contacts either not making contact with the batteries or the contacts corroding. It was a relatively easy fix for me but that's because I'm pretty handy with that sort of thing.
Finally, the plastic housing itself just started to disintegrate on me so I ended up having to throw that first one away and then ended up ordering this current one.
It's almost identical to the first one I ordered many years ago, however this one seems to have improved on the battery contacts, most likely to correct for the same issues that I was having with the first one I had.
Anyhow, yes I would recommend this unit because for the money it's a good buy! This is definitely not a professional level kit, but it is a great little starter kit that will get you by. If you are looking for something that has adjustable speeds (recommendable if you want top quality manicures/pedicures) then this may not work for you. But if you just want something basic to polish your nails with, this will do the trick will little damage to your budget.
I was skeptical about this because the price was so low but i'm really happy with it. I decided to take a chance considering the reviews were over all really good and i'm happy i did. I've used mine a few times this past week and it works great and has a lot of power which i was concerned about. It takes 2 AA batteries which is great and it fits into my nail bag well. You cant beat it for the price!
I brought it to see if it works! Yes!! Best money saver ever! My nails are growing!! Never had nails the grew and break not now!

Received in mint condition. Really enjoyed using it until I put one tip in and I STILL can't get it out. The product is plastic so if I try and pull the tip out with force I'm afraid it will break. Beware of this.
Truly a favorite.. reviews lead me to try this.. I returned other of the same kinda tool and LOVE this one.. Will last but treat it kindly
