I don't often wear nail polish - mainly because I'm too lazy to put it on just to have it chip off 2 days later. So I like to find items that can help my natural nails look their best. I also have really thick cuticles and need some pushing back, so I thought it would be cool to have an "electric" nail file with different attachment heads that I could use while i'm sitting and watching TV.

The file is not technically electric. It runs on 2 AA batteries that are not included. But what I love is how easy it is to use!

Just pop the attachments into the little hole thingy and push the button. You need to hold the button down to make it work. And I also love that there is an attachment to fill all your nail needs!

The pros:
Has a different attachment for everything
Easy to use
Great for grinding bumps and ridges
You can even use the diamond tool on calluses
Has a little purple silk pouch that can hold the files and the attachments together so you don't lose anything.

The cons:
It's pretty loud
On natural nails, it is a little too powerful. It gets hot on your fingers after a short time.

The other reviewers are saying that they have been having trouble with it stopping after pressing too hard. However as I have natural nails, I did not experience that. In fact, I had to press it lightly otherwise it probably make my fingers catch fire.

Overall, I think this is a cool and convenient tool to use anytime you want. It does a good job of removing callouses, buffing, and pushing back thick cuticles on your toenails. As a file, it's probably best suited for acrylics or gel nails.

I really like this. It cleans under my nails (which are like a garbage dumpster), & it comes with different doo-hickies for nail care. It comes in a shiney, purple drawstring case.I love it!

So easy to use. Batteries easy to change. With all the various heads included I also use it to trim/buff-down my cuticles. Makes pedi's and mani's so easy.

EXCELLENT KIT, those that mentioned it was slow I found out its due to batteries. The first time I used batteries and it was slow. However as soon as I used new batteries it worked great.

I put in fresh batteries, and this gem did the job. I'm going to wait until Black Friday to see if it goes down a bit before ordering more...but I think it's a good item to have for those of us who do our own mani/pedi

I used this for the first time last night and it's did the job.

Great little kit for the price, it works for my needs. I use the small bits for cleaning up under my acrylic nails especially after gardening when all of a sudden there is a hole and soil gets in and just a nail brush won't do. Also cleans up the edges when the real nails start to out grow the acrylic. Love it. Worth the money.
