Bought this a Walmart. I wanted to be able to use a drill to file off and refill gel. I use Sally Hansen’s gel with LED lamp, also bought at Walmart. This drill was perfect for this use. It removed the old first few layers of gel, so I could do a refill. As you can see in this photo, it did a great job. I didn’t take before and after pictures though. I noticed that it would stop during the process but found it a great safety feature as to not file off too much of the nature nail bed. It’s a great first purchase to use for my gel nails.

First let me say my mother in law gave this to me because she never used it. I DID NOT purchase it myself or from a site.
The product is great if your a beginner and are light on your hands. Too much pressure will cause the attachment(s) to stop spinning but I liked that because it taught me to be light and strategic about my touch. A product for $20 (free in my case) you can't expect much power. The results I got were amazing and now want to start doing nails from home as its increased my love of nails and the art of it.
My first use was to remove gel nails in which I pre soaked and to blend my natural nail to my acrylic tips. I didn't want to go and pay for a fill because I plan on learning to do my own fill with acrylic powder. I basically smoothed, reshaped and rid of the demarcation line on my nails (new growth is horrible!).
All in all I say if you want a professional tool this comes as close as it gets without paying the price. If your new to this this is an amazing way to insure you don't over file or cut yourself as nail techs have done to me. If you need a strong motor, this is NOT the kit for you.
Instead of taking time to go to a nail salone, I prefer doing my nails at home. I bought mine at Walmart, so the price was below $18.00, good price. I bought acrylic powder to do it myself and my first time it turned clunky. I kept it on for two weeks to see if it was a good product and it is. So I went to buy Kiss to file it down. The white ends do work best. The larger the ends the harder the small voltage has to stay going. But I did get it pretty smooth, maybe not quite as good as the salone but it's my first time and I'm pleased. No chance of filing through your nail but it works.
Love mine saves me money too. Don't have to do salon visits for acrylic fills.
Lots of power. I can charge it. I can't give it a 5 because the cover on the case broke the second time I used it.
