I am writing this review so others know that this tool is amazing. I have been getting my nails done for 17 years and I never would expect a $40 tool like this would be salon quality, but it is. I bought this because I started doing gel polish at home and wanted something to help take off the gel polish faster than a regular nail file. Just the "fine" bit on the slow setting started taking off the polish. I love this tool and highly recommend it to anyone who does their nails at home. I may even start doing the acrylic at home just because this tool works that well.
I am a licensed nail technician. I ordered this e-file because my previous e-file died on me and I needed something inexpensive but durable to cover my services until my new one came in. That said, I LOVE this e-file so far and have yet to order a new one. It is light weight, quiet, and there is no vibration. The adjustable speed and easy entry for the bits is awesome. I personally use this e-file during my acrylic sets and it handles very well. *Note I did not and do not use the bits that were included. My bits are designed for smoothing the acrylic and softening lines after application. Overall I highly recommend!
I have to admit that I was skeptical about ordering this nail drill at first espically after reading all the mixed reviews, but I decided that for the price it was at least worth a shot. I'm so happy with my purchase! I received exactly what was shown in the photos (The drill itself, The power cord, 2 clear boxes with different bits/attachments, and an instruction sheet) I have used the drill on my natural nail and also on acrylics and it worked amazingly for both! If your going to use this drill on your natural nail make sure you have the drill speed turned all the way down. I made the mistake of trying it with the speed turned all the way up and it did burn a little but with it turned down all the way or even on a medium speed it worked great for my natural nail! I then proceeded to apply a full set of acrylic nails on myself and I used the drill and it worked flawlessly! I am not a professional nail tech just someone who enjoys doing their own nails. All in all I have to admit I'm extremely impressed with this nail drill! I definitely would recommend it to anyone professional or otherwise as it's a great product! With that being said I do have one complaint. The power cord is way to short. I have an outlet right behind the chair that I was sitting in and the chair was pushed all the way against the wall and the drill just barley reached my nails I ended up having to turn and sit awkwardly. Needless to say that's a very simple fix. So it looks like I'm going out to purchase an extension cord tomorrow and then I'll be all set! Also as a side note they shipped this to me really fast. From the day that I placed my order to the day that I received my order was less than a week!
This drill does exactly what it describes... Maybe a little too well. I use this to take off some of the solar acrylic on my nails before I go to my normal nail tech. I am super picky about the thickness of the powder, and I am constantly asking to take more off, as I like my nails SUPER thin. It's very time consuming and I always feel guilty about complaining, so I decided to buy a drill and do some of the early leg work for her. Also, I never feel like they take off enough before adding more so that the old layers below are less visible. However, I need to practice a little more, as I end up going to low and hitting my actual nail bed, leaving my fingers sore.
This is a really good drill and has ALL of the pieces I was looking to have, at a decent price. I am definitely not sorry I bought it, but I'll need to play around with the speed settings, as it is pretty powerful for an amateur such as myself. The attachments are ok, and durable enough and the drill is well made, not at all like those cheap battery operated ones that come in those nail polish/manicure kits you by at Walmart during Christmas time.Thus, I don't even mind that you have to keep it plugged up to use it.
Amazing drimel. I've only just started doing my own acrylic nails and this is a really awesome tool. I love that it can spin in both directions. It was a little tricky figuring out how to unlock the tool head (twist hard to the left), bit i figured it out and the tool head stays perfectly in place.
Using this drimel had made doing my nails so much easier. Trying to use a nail file or buffing block to smooth and file down the acrylic takes FOREVER, but this tool made it 10x faster and the bulk of my nails were actually even!

This arrirved at my home REALLY quickly, and very well packaged. I previously used a battery-run power file/drill, and this new Kedsum file is far superior...I'm fact, I just LOVE IT!
I love the way you can slowly adjust the speed from the very lowest to the very highest as opposed to just having a high, medium and low speed. I also like that I don't have to worry about batteries running low, because it needs to be plugged in to use. The info did say it is rechargable, and it is NOT, but I do not consider this a negative, because I would rather just plug it in and not have to worry about it.
Also love the extra drill bits that come with it, and that they are easily inserted by hand with no additional tool needed for that.
I researched electric nail files for several hours before ordering this, and it has exceeded my expectations in all regards!

It is a nice powerful drill, especially for the price!! Very quiet and easy to operate and changing the bits is a breeze.
The seller was conscientious of their service. I am completely satisfied with the transaction.
My only complaints are that the cord is pretty short, and the drill its self is on the heavy side. However these are not enough of an issue to deter me from using or recommending this item!
I'm a nail tech & I bought this for an extra drill for home use but I love it so much I'm buying a second one to replace the bulky drill I use at work. It performs just as good as my $200 drill but I only used it for a week so far. The hand piece is smaller than the one I'm used to but I have small hands so it's not bad for me. If you have larger hands this may feel tiny for you. Although it's smaller it's still good quality made. The price is less but it does not look cheap. It runs quietly and files smoothly. I had no issues with overheating. The cord is not very long but the plug at my manicure table sits high so it was not an issue for me. I don't use the bits it came with- I have my own professional carbide bits. My 3/32 shank bits fit perfectly in the hand piece. It does not come with a hand piece holder so I'm using the one from my old drill. If you buy this I recommend buying a rest/holder to prevent from rolling off your table when not in use. Overall for the price I'm very pleased with my purchase. I hope it continues to perform well. Time will tell. For now I give it 5 stars.
I am very pleased with my purchase of this nail drill. I have used it on both natural and gel nails. The different attachments that came with it are quite useful. I find it very easy to change and lock in the drill attachments with the instructions provided. I also like the adjustable speed and the switch to change drill directions. I hope it lasts me a long time!
I was uncertain about this product after reviews but I thought I give it a go anyways. After a month I finally put it to use. My nails grow pretty long, and the work I do requires I wear boots so my nail would often get curved in wear angles, causing them to look like claws rather than your toenails. This file took no time shaping even the most thickest and bent over nail back down to a regular size nail. So far I had no problem with the over heating issue that was mention and haven't needed to open the protective glove included in the kit. I'm by far not a experience nail technician, but so far I'm enjoying figuring out the different nail file pieces to be used for what or does a good job in this area. And it works great with false nails. It may give off a burning smell because your cutting down plastic but I find cutting down my sets make them stick on longer if their not getting clipped on easily by things.
