I do my own acrylics and when starting out I always had lumps and bumps. I got better over time, but I still had about 30-45 minutes of hand filing time. I had a drill, but ALWAYS cut my right hand when using the drill with my non dominant hand. I've been using these for a while and can honestly say it's one of the best purchases I've made on amazon. I get up to the cuticle and sidewalls and I've not cut myself once. Highly recommend!
