This thing is a BEAST! If you're looking for a drill bit to REALLY take off your acrylics/gels, I definitely recommend this bad boy! I will say - be VERY careful around your cuticles! Personally, I only ever use this drill bit for taking off MAJOR length and 3-D nail art.
If you're new to doing acrylics/gels and are unsure of what bits/grits to buy, here's what I suggest:
1) A medium-grit drill bit for getting rid of nail bulk, length, or removing gel polish/colored acrylic.
2) Nail Drill Sanding Bands of 80 or 120-grit for shaping the nail OR a hand held file of around 100/180 coarse/medium grit. Use the 100-grit coarse side to shape the nail, use the 180 medium-grit to smooth out any odd edges and the tip of the nail.
3) Buffer. I personally use a medium/fine sanding block to finish off my nails. This step IS important. This is how you smooth the nail out and make it look natural. Have you ever seen a set of nails that looked like they had little scratches all over them? And it looked like crap? This is why. They DIDN'T take the time to buffer the nails until they were smooth and those lines were gone.
This is just what works for me. *shrugs* Hope this helps! ^_^
Love it, I used for a month it's still very sharp
Excellent for even out the acrylic after applying a full set but not strong enough for acrylic removal which was the reason I bought it, still a good product
works as expected
very good
