I've had about 2 weeks and so far no complaints. Seems to be robust enough for me to do acrylic nails. The hand held wand is comfortable weight. I am pleased about the fact that the unit seems to be built very solid and it doesn't take up much space. For the price, I'm very pleasantly surprised. The purple piece that you set the hand held wand is made of plastic, that's tipped over on me a few times. The drill shuts off QUICK when you take your foot off the pedal which is also very nice. You will want to buy a good carbide bit to drill down product quick as that's not included in the tips provided. The sanders are the most robust included. NOTE: There are NO DIRECTIONS included. A few things that took me a minute to figure out, to use the foot pedal, the red switch needs to be on OFF...then you step on the foot pedal which will go as fast as the speed dial is set. If you do not want to use the foot pedal, then you turn the red switch to ON. Also, when you are changing the direction of rotation, make sure it's switched all the way to the left or right because it stops in the middle. Last, for US users the red switch on the back of the unit should show 110W, outside of the US that switch should be on 220W. Last, the drill bits push in and pull out, no need to twist to lock and unlock. I was a little worried about that, thinking the bit may get loose but so far it's not an issue at all.
Came at stated delivery time. I am a beginner at doing my own nails using acrylic. And I thought this product was a great starter pack with all of the items it came with. The speed it adjustable and it can be set to automatic where it will stay on with out having to use the foot pad. And the other setting it can only be used by pressing the foot pad and won't turn on with out being pressed.The hand piece stand does work and doesn't fall over. I really do enjoy this product and everything it comes with.
I Purchased this drill because we have this exact one in class. If you are looking for a professional drill this is not the one. It is more for practice. While doing a full set i used the drill versus hand-filing and it did not keep up. I had to adjust the levels a bit also the sanding bands that came with it do not fit properly. They fit loose so i pinched them between my fingers to get a tighter fit. During the service the sanding band would constantly slide up the bit. This is not to discourage anyone this was only my experience, i also bought another set of sanding bands.

For everyone saying the pedal doesn't work... I thought the same thing. Until I switched the button to off. The pedal then works. The light will activate with the pedal. This is a great drill

This is my first dremel. Bought it for personal use so I could do my hard gel overlay and gel polish at home. It's a good first time dremel and would be good for beginners. It does take a super long time to get through the hard gel I use, but maybe I'm not using the best tip for that? Good price for everything included. Only issue I have had is that the foot pedal didnt work upon receiving it. Not a huge deal for me and can do just fine without it.
Love my new drill. I'm not a professional but I can tell the difference in a good quality product and all beginners should start with a good drill, it will save you so much time
After about two months of using it , it started making weird noises, I find that spiral thing that’s attracted to the hand piece to be annoying. A client was scared of the weird noises it was making . The drill isn’t quiet and it’s quiet enough I guess on low speed ... and that’s on low speed !!! I never used the foot pedal so I can’t say much about that. For the price and for a beginner , it’s worth it . 😌
I love this, I can actually work better on my nails than the other drill I had. I'm so glad I bought this, the speed is amazing. I can file my nails down better too, it doesn't stop or nothing. The speed is great! I love the entire thing!
Awesome awesome drill!! I just started doing my own nails to save money! I have no problems with it! Its just like what the professionals use! Highly recommended!!!
Update almost 2 years later and over a hundred sets of nails have been used with this machine and it is still going strong!!!! Definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!
