I'm not sure how much one can say about a chair caster but I was so impressed by how easily these were to install, I thought that was worth a review. We had one caster (out of five) from our large, executive style desk chair break. I didn't see a part number on the broken caster but when I searched for the same model of chair here on Amazon, I saw that others had also purchased these casters (they are larger in diameter than the original ones). Took a chance and was pleasantly-surprised to find that these fit perfectly and were a breeze to install. As long as the slot for the pin in the caster fits, these should fit many styles of chair. The larger diameter is also an upgrade in terms of how easily the chair rolls now. I may be overstating the obvious by pointing out that you need to replace all 5 casters if you go up (or down) in size.
I don't like to review an item without using it I have done it and here I go again. In this case I bought the same model number, R75P, about 14 months ago filled by Roland and have been using them since that time, they even cost $2 more at that time.
I go through carpet protectors within month, they sometimes make it to a year but that is rare. Our carpet is very high pile. Finally I purchased a chair mat that is like hardwood flooring and solved my problems with punching through the so called heavy duty mats.
These casters are the easiest to install ever. Most standard ones require considerable persuasion like a rubber mallet but these installed easily just by pushing and that was the case with the first set too. They roll nice and quiet.
The reason I needed another set is because I purchased a new chair. I left it laying on it's side without installing the OEM casters until these arrived today.
Where were these for those 30 plus years I have been using office chairs? These will be my choice until I can't find them. The service was fine arriving on the earliest date of the date range. I would recommend them for anyone with hard flooring and a chair that accepts this size.

I've had these for 2 years now and they've held up perfectly and still work just as good as they did the first day I bought them. I actually ended up replacing the chair these were on with a different chair (but still put these wheels on the new one). Overall I'm still very satisfied with these wheels. Very well made.

I've had these almost a year now and I still feel the same way I initially did about these wheels. They are quiet, roll easy, and don't scratch the floors. I'm still very happy with this purchase and still recommend them.
I bought this to use on my hard wood floors so I don't have to worry about scratching them and I'm impressed with them. They seem very sturdy and they move very easily across the floors. If you need a good set of caster wheels, I would recommend buying these.
Great value. Wheels are a dream. And soft enough on the hardwood floors. OEM wheels were hard plastic and over time picked up grit from the floors and eventually were like diamond crusted grinding wheels into the hardwood. It required me to replace those boards and begin using an are rug under my expensive Wau desk chair (have no idea why the manufacturer wouldn't put soft wheels on such a pricey item, out of the gate). Good value and worth more than the money, which wasn't much. Would recommend.
I live in a second floor condo, and just recently removed the carpet from my 2nd bedroom/home office and installed tile floors. I was concerned my neighbor might complain when I moved my office chair back in because it made so much noise when moving around! And I really did not want to put down a chair mat which would cover up my beautiful new floors. I was so happy to find these casters and decided to pay extra for the larger wheels since there were complains about the cheaper ones with smaller wheels. Just put them on and it has already made a huge difference in noise already. So far, I'm very pleased. Hope they last, and help keep my expensive tiles looking like new and my downstairs neighbor happy.

These casters work fine on the Herman Miller Aeron chair when I replaced the original slightly smaller diameter casters with this larger one. They roll fine and hopefully will last longer than the original ones (one of the 5 started breaking up after about 12 years).
When I had a problem pressing one of the wheels in place I put a tiny amount of lubricant on the end of the shaft and that did the job.
I recommend these casters.
These are working well for my "computer chair" at home on a hardwood floor. The previous, smaller urethane casters protected the floor and worked fine until one of them started to fail leaving small pieces of the wheels lying on the floor. I'm hoping that the larger diameter of these will help them last longer. The extra height has not been a problem in any way though I can imagine that it might be in a few applications.
Just put these on my home office chair. The old casters were standard sized hard nylon, and seemed to be seizing. So I was afraid they might damage the hardwood floor.
These Rolland casters roll silently and smoothly! The larger diameter allows them to glide easily over the seams between the floor planks, The rubber edges grip the floor, so it seems like they want to roll as opposed to slide. It also feels like this soft edge will protect the floor from damage.
I have purchased many types of wheels trying to find a "smooth ride" across the spaces between the grout lines on our tile floor using a computer chair. When you have a family member who can not walk and has to navigate through the house in a chair that rolls, this becomes an important matter of concern. A standard wheelchair is much too awkward in a kitchen trying to prepare food but a smooth rolling computer chair serves this purpose well and also fits into the bathroom and of course is perfect for the computer desk. I am going to order more of these wheels for the office and to have a spare set because of not only the smile on the face of my husband as he rolls merrily along but also the safety of not having the chair come to an abrupt halt as when the previous small wheels were stopped by the spaces between the tiles.
These casters fit perfectly, look nice, and are so quiet. I bought 2 sets to replace castors for office chairs that are now on hardwood and laminate floors. The originals were smaller and harder. I don't think they really did scratch the floor but I'm always afraid over a long time it will increase wear, so I got these, but the difference was way more than I expected. They are "softer" so they grip the floor much better, and because of the larger size your chair flows effortlessly. They are also extremely quiet compared to the old ones, I never realized how loud they were until I replaced them with these.
