This is a great tool for nail technicians and DIY nail artists. The drill comes with 6 basic bits and 6 tiny rolls that fit into one particular bit. It is a wonderful drill that sands down your nails. I saw a professional manicurist use the same exact drill when he was giving me acrylic nails. It is strong enough to trim down your nails but gentle enough that it will not cut or hurt your cuticles if it brushes against your finger.
To insert the drill bit, you must first push the metal button until you hear a click and unscrew the top part enough so that it comes off or nearly loose so that you can insert the drill bit. You will see an inner bottom part as well. Insert a drill bit and screw it back on. It is very simple and easy to twist inside. Once you have the drill bit in, make sure to screw it in well so that it does not slide off. You turn the wheel switch on and off and you can change the speeds. I found that the faster it spins, the more accurate it is but you have to make sure your fingers are on the drill. It is very lightweight so it is very easy to grip.
You can use the drill to sand down your nails or sand down nail acrylics. I have also used this on KISS nails that come in packages but are not shaped exactly my size. This drill works very well and I am very happy with the product. I am sure there are many more usages in the other nail bits, but I prefer using bit where you can slide over the sand-papery tube. Overall, a very easy, fun, and light drill.
A very nice little filer that surprised me with how effective and well put together it was for the price. It came INSANELY fast in the mail, too (estimate was mid-August, got it within a week of ordering). The drill bits can be a little difficult to insert and remove, and theres a faint smell of burning plastic when you initially turn it on a higher setting, but everything settles in pretty quickly and, as someone who's never used an electric nail filer before, I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this and am very pleased this is my first experience with one.
As a bonus, the way the drill bits are shaped and constructed along with the speeds it reaches, this product is also good for filing down and carving out bits on small sculptures and resin cast items. Considering how often I work with small resin cast charms, I can see this filer being a life saver!
This product works! I received the package on time and nicely wrapped! Easy to open and operate. Cord is a little short and will need to get an extension. All the bits are great but will only use a few. It is a little tricky putting in the bits and the directions could be better, so just watch a Youtube video and you will understand it better. I will post a review after a few months and let you know how it working!
This peice of equipment not only met my expectations it bypassed them! I do my own nails & it helped me make them look even better yet!! I loved the different settings, the attachments & with my Prime membership the price was unbelievable!! The only negative I have is: instructions for changing attachments & being able to tighten up the attachment without proper tool. That has to be purchased separately "somewhere" & would have been nice if that was included or offered with additional cost. Still regardless of that I am extremely impressed with "miniature but mighty filer" !!
I used to do acrylic nails in beauty school about 10 years ago and recently wanted to get back into doing them. I went to a beauty supply store and got all my supplies, only thing left I needed was a drill. I decided to purchase this one because the price was great, and the item had good reviews. On to the product.
Although I don't have much to compare it to, this product works well. It is sturdy and comes with multiple attachments and sizes. It made my nails look great and professional. The only issue I have is the cord is a bit short (about 2 feet?), so you have to sit close to the outlet, but all in all, I'd recommend this item.

After purchasing this item, I read the reviews. I seen a lot of bad reviews, not very good ones. I received this product two days ago (before expected delivery) and I have used many nail drills before. For the price you pay, I LOVE this. Shapes any acrylic nail with ease. I haven't had a problem with it and i'm looking forward to using it more!
If you had an issue like me where you were sitting down for more than an hour trying to figure out how to fit the drill bits into the hole, LISTEN UP! After sticking an eye glass screw driver down the little hole, I realized how the entire drill was set up. It is as simple as 1.2.3.
*1.) Unscrew the black piece directly underneath where you would put the drill bits in
*2.) Push the silver button on the side
*3.) Unscrew the silver piece that the drill bits directly go in
*4.) You'll notice everything is LOOSE. Without twisting the silver part completely off, put in which ever drill bit of your choice and push it down COMPLETELY!
*5.) IMPORTANT: Make sure you screw the silver part which you inserted the drill bit in tightly
I hope I helped out someone! Enjoy your drill. It really does work. I used it for the first time on a practice acrylic finger and it got the job done!
TWO STARS:::RECEIVED THE ITEM EARLY. IT CAME IN A VERY THIN BAG WHICH I DID NOT LIKE BUT THE PRODUCT WAS NOT DAMAGED AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THANKFULLY. I WAS REALLY EXCITED TO USE IT BUT WAS QUICKLY DISAPPOINTED WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE AND SAW THAT THE ADAPTER I RECEIVED WAS NOT MADE FOR AN AMERICAN OUTLET :(. CURRENTLY WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM THE SELLER ABOUT THE PROBLEM.
UPDATE:::emailing back and forth with the seller, who was very consistent as well as persistent , we decided it was only right to get a partial refund to get the correct adapter myself. i bought the adapter and the nail drill works just fine and i am very happy with this product!!!!!
Im new to doing acrylic nails so I wanted to orignaly go for a higher priced nail drill but wow was I wrong this nail drill has uped my game by alot I do my friends nails and my own the cord is alittle short but no problem with a drop cord or small extender I have had this drill a good two months or more and it still works perfectly it has good speed and the bits seem to last forever in the pic I post you can see the great shape of the nails they are color changing gel polished
Im very happy with this purchase. This electric nail art drill comes with 7 different nail sanders with 5 disposable sanders. This drill has just as much power and performs just as well on my nails and my friends nails as the Dremel craft drill that I have. I would recommend the Dragonpad Nail Art drill to anyone.
