I get my gel manicures done at the salon, and though they are long-lasting, chips and especially grow outs from the bottom happen. With a electric nail drill like this, I'm able to make small repairs to the top without having to go in. Moe importantly, if the growout looks like hell, but I don't have the time to go get things redone, I can use this to grind off the surface of the gel polish to a point that I can get the rest off with acetone without soaking for an hour, just like they do at the salon, and then use regular polish until I can go in again. My vanity is saved!
The two speeds and different course grinders make it so easy. Rough grinding at 2 speeds to shape the nails with the cone grind head, then finer with sand disks.
