This is the best drill i have owned. For the price I’m impressed. It truly reaches 20,000 rpm but you should never use a drill at that speed. I do find that if too much pressure is applied to the nail the drill will stop which is a bummer for the motor and a blow to the perception of the quality. I can’t bring myself to spend $400 on a drill so this is the next best thing for those who would like something for personal or commercial use. Also, be sure to dust off the pen after every use to prevent clogging and this drill will last you a long time!
I purchased this e-file after much research. I'm not a professional, have been getting augments for two decades, and recently began doing my own nails with a dip system. I think this efile is perfect for my purposes. It is not appropriate for natural nails --- it's for acrylic (dip), gel, polygel...etc. Also, I use a fluffy brush to clear the bit and shaft of dust before changing bits, in hopes of keeping dust out of the motor to extend the life e-file. A lot of complaints about efiles seem to stem from the root cause of users not practicing good hygiene with their files, resulting in the file becoming non functional too soon.
I'm a professional nail tech and this drill is great! I would recommend it to any professional nail tech that uses gel. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold the mandrel but in tight enough to remove a sanding band, I have to remove the bit and hold it with pliers to get it off.
I've always used medicool drills, this is the best one yet. Very quiet, smooth with absolutely no vibration.
Works good. Does bog down when you put to much pressure. Wish this model had the option of off switch on the reverse toggle though. Over all happy with my purchase.

I have been doing my own nails for years but more recently in the past two years have become more serious with it, meaning I've invested more into it than just some nail polish colors. I stopped getting acrylics at the nail salon because of the cost but missed them terribly so decided to do them myself. One of these drills is completely necessary for getting the job done but I didn't want to spend $500 on a professional Kupa brand drill so I began researching and reading product reviews. I finally settled on this one because it had good reviews, wasn't "cheap" but also wasn't going to cost a fortune. Since I only do my own nails the machine will not be taxed the way a nail tech's drill would be. I've only used this machine twice so far but it is comfortable to hold, not too heavy, and performs smooth but with plenty of power. And I love the fact that it has the twist and lock chuck, and uses the standard size drill bit.
Love this tool. But I’ve noticed on lower settings it tends to bog down. Wish it would keep a steady momentum. Other than that, it’s very light weight, easy to pack up and move and I love that it has a holder for the drill.
It was a xmas gift for girlfriend and she loves it.
The electric nail filing drill was well-packed, shipped pretty fast and delivered in time.
I put 4 * instead of 5* because the drill plastic case is getting warm while in use. I hope it will last long.
I am a pro nail tech. I wanted a smaller e-file, this unit is small. This e-file is different than my last e-file. It does bog down with a little pressure. It DOES NOT have a high torque. Applying pressure to the artificial nail to remove it -is a bad habit and not necessary. My customers say they like the new e-file. They like the lighter touch this e-file forces me to use.
